I think Wes would make a really good analyst. But I don't see him as a coordinator let alone a position coach----I think he's hit his ceiling and good coaches are out-scheming him out fairly easily.
Just my $0.02 worth but I've been off the Wes train for a while.

Last time it was Streeter. I'll never forgive Dabo for that game. Definitely top 3 worst coaching jobs of his career if not #1 with what was on the line.
This Saturday is one of the biggest games of Dabo's career and definitely the biggest game for Wes's.

To be honest, the dumpster fire that is called special teams concerns me more than the defense at this moment. If this game comes down to a FG, we may be in trouble.

You are correct because Beamer, like his dad, lives on the special teams, and it cost us 2 years ago. The FG and XP blocks are ridiculous. They will try hard to block a punt also. You can look for fake punts from them also. This is going to be a tough game with mistakes made mean game lost. However, that part aside, Our offensive line health concerns me even more.

While I great admire your confidence I don't think it is a "big IF". The betting guys have alot of cash at stake if they are wrong and right now the odds they give are in the too close to call territory of 2.5 pts.
So let's just say "If". Then I agree that something has to change with defensive coaching.

He should make a change either way. Teams play with fire at the level of their coaches, which to this point, I haven’t seen. A home game should be to our advantage however, didn’t help us at all with Loserville. Unprepared, out coached and no clue from our sidelines. Hopefully the game will not come down to FGs.
