I say we tape a dip net to each hand. Then he could snag anything within reach. Spud probably has several extras lying around.

I do. I had a couple of small crappie nets when I first started catching those

catfish on the Broad River on spinner baits no less...AND QUICKLY REALIZED my nets were WAY TOO SMALL!!!!
