If things in amateur sports continue

As they are now going I can see a big change in the games. Obviously money has crept into the picture in several ways. Do you think all of this nonsense that we are seeing now evolve into the schools that provide the players get a fee? For instance, if the Cowboys recruit a Tiger player the Tigers would receive a fee from the NFL for developing this player? Sounds crazy I know but this entire system has gone nuts also.

Personally...I would be willing to bet that if things keep

Going as they are now, there will be so little interest in college sports that it won't matter. What made college ball so great..was that Homer was a Tiger, Hershel was a Dawg, and George was a Gamecock....

They were part of the University and always will be. Now.....they are almost like mercenaries...bad analogy I know...but it just is not the same... The Tigers from the past..and I know a few...they love Clemson...came back to it and supported it for 30..40..50..years...and hopefully the guys Dabo attracts will do that too. But I certainly don't think the guys that sign because of NIL will ever be the same as the guys that played for Frank, Danny, Dooley,Morisson...etc.etc.

I hope I am wrong....

College Football has been the last amateur sport of interest unaffected greatly. Basketball and baseball has taken kids straight out of HS. This diluted the talent in these sports on an amateur level. Football has kept to at least the two years out of HS before going professional. When that changes, the sport will die

Who put the "L" in BrowneLL

I believe those who play for Clemson will always be Clemson.

What you're speculating on will certainly happen to the programs which rent players for three year but Dabo has make it clear that we are looking for guys who want to be a part of Clemson.

Maybe the P2 will turn into a minor league for the NFL.

Perhaps they will have 95 or more scholarships. And play well over 12 games a year regular season (TV money). They will unionize and dominate the NIL.

The depleted BigXII, and PAC 12 , and ACC will stick to 85 scholarships and just be happy being college football.

(Hopefully they break into two divisions. The P2 and G8.

You nailed it right there. It's close to being over.***

Putting the symbol of the Communist tied, money laundering BLM on the helmets s few years ago is a prime example. I can't believe Dabo promoted that criminal hate group.

This is how soccer works. They are called solidarity payments. Currently, MLS pays 5% of transfer fees to the youth club(s) that developed the player. This is a worldwide practice.

All we heard for years from the ESPN woke crowd was the players needed to be paid. Well now you have it and the destruction of CFB has begun.
