Whose music was built for a seedy Jazz lounge, Bill Evans was it. I'm not saying that in a bad way. He's one of my favorite pianists of any genre.

Good Sir, you'll find Bill Evans playing in the Jazz Room quite often.
But fo real, there's actually a pretty decent Jazz scene going on here, and I give a ton of credit to these guys - not the big white doofus, but Lonnie, Ossie, and Curtis.

Dr Lonnie Smith? If so, I used to be around him every single week serving and bartending down in Hollywood Florida at one point at a place called O'hara's. People would always talk about how he was a big deal, but I had never heard of him before that. The place would be kind of empty a lot of the time because they.were still gentrifying the area.

Lonnie (may be spelling it wrong) is the lady. She is the President of Charlotte Jazz Arts. Her husband, who is holding the whisky bottle is an amazing drummer and art director, and the guy wearing the hat (Curtis) is a soulful DJ.
