We wont make it out. This team is playing like hot freaking doo doo, and has been for over a month.
Clemson is somewhere around 13-11 in the last 24. And that is not against some top shelf competition. That is against lower level ACC (outside of Wake who is in the midst of a rebuild year for the most part). Losing to terrible baseball teams in that span.
The pitching has been bad, gloves bad, and bats inconsistent. That leads to a quick exit in postseason
And no, “its not just baseball”. Anyone with half a brain who knows anything about collegiate baseball can see the track we are on.

I think SCar is equally likely to end up in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, or Charlottesville as they are in Clemson. Greenville seems like it's ready-made for Duke to end up there.

Is if SC were to win SECT, I'd have to believe they'd be high up on the #2-seed tier, if they don't get a bump to #1 seed/regional host (before anyone brushes that notion off, the committee isn't above giving someone a nice tourney bump to somewhere that might be above where they should be - see us after the 2016 ACC title).
That should mean they'd be more in line to match up with the 9-16 national seed tier, which most likely would be either NC State, UNC, ECU, or Wake depending on how the seeding shapes up. If we fall below Top 8 national seed, then I see the committee sticking them with us as they seem hê!ł bent to try & force a regional/super regional pairing for past 13-14 years.

Im not scared my guy. I am not making any plays in the regional and this washed up old man wont be stepping foot in a batters box.
I can make a pretty clear observation of collegiate baseball as a fan though. Thats what fans do.

S. Carolina is on fire offensive wise but pitching isn’t to good and defensively they are worse than Clemson so we still have a chance if we are wise with our rotation and learned from this past tournament

In the last 24 they just came off of playing UGA and UT series.
2 of the top teams the country.
Im not sure our schedule has been that tough heading down the stretch. Our schedule has been very manageable.
I dont know what happened. Was Ciufo the key piece that we just could not move on from.
I dont know what happened to the 24 Clemson Tigers. Just a late season collapse or maybe this team was never really as good as their record

Lol palmettoson. That easy answer has given up 16 runs in two games and kicks off in the losers bracket in a hour. Their opponents were 87th and 181st in hitting (ours were 68th and 79th). You nailed it as usual.

South Carolina record in their last 11 games is 3-8.
Regarding regionals, we will beat the 4 seed with Barlow or whoever pitching. We will win game 2 with knaak and we will win game 3 with smith. Smith, knaak and Gordon can all be elite and I believe we will make it to cws because of them.

So far smith, Knaak and Gordon have a combined 1.84 ERA in the regionals. This is through 14 2/3 innings.
