to keep Clemson basketball fair to middlin? That way we can all afford to go see some hoops whenever we want. God forbid that we start pilling up ACC championships, make the sweet sixteen or better like five years in a row, and make a run at a Natty. We couldn't afford a seat on the, I mean a seat at the John for some roundball action.
What say ye?

One of the biggest and loudest defenders on this board sits in the premium seats and I know this is a factor. No way would he keep those seats if we ever won anything. Brad treats the existing boosters very well and that keeps them very loyal. Handshakes and cocktails before the game are apparently way more valuable than actually winning a title.

A big donor who sits in premium seats wouldn’t want to keep their seats as the team continues to improve?!?

There is nothing weird about the math. He has vocally bashed the football program and expressed his dismay that he doesn’t have the access he used to in the Bowden era. He would equally be priced out of the best seats in basketball if we were actually good. This is an opportunity cost of embracing mediocrity.

prices are high for just about everything these days in all facets of entertainment. Concert prices are ridiculous as well. Prices for these types of things once they go up rarely ever come back down. once these industries verify that people will pay those prices they rarely fall. They may stagnate for a while but getting into a good clemson game for 50 bucks is a thing of the past unless you just get a deal or sit in the corners at the tipity top of death valley for a Troy game.

As long as we keep coaches locked in like CBB, we will always be mediocre. Does not matter what type of talent we have, we can't win tournament games.
