much big-time exposure we get as well as the money. Noon kickoffs every weekend and never getting prime time slots even when we are playing huge programs does not help our brand or recruiting. If your rival can tout 3 prime time games a year and all you can point to is an ACC broadcast at night...Houston we have a problem. eSECpn gives no respect to our brand. How many want to bet LSU will be a nooner?

If people don't think ESPN and the ACC are punishing Clemson for bucking and not falling in line they are kidding themselves. There has absolutely been a retaliation from both and I hope it comes back and burns them.

We had 6 noon games this year.
We had 5 games that were 7:00-8:00 starts.
We had 3 games that were 3:30-4:00 starts.
Eleven of our 14 games this past season were on ESPN, ABC, or TNT. We have plenty of exposure.
Our job is to start winning the biggest games on our schedule. Continuing to have a poor record against the best teams we play is hurting our brand much more than noon games are. Our losing record the last few years against top 10 opponents has to improve.

I don't think it's punishment. I really think it has more to do with eyeballs. If we're playing dook, wake, bc, cuse etc as away games, most likely we'll blow them away. Figure in you might have 30k fans and a bunch of aluminum. Who wants to watch that.
As for our rival, I assume you're talking scar. If they're playing an sec team, it's going to have a packed crowd and usually others across the country have some interest because it usually involves an sec team that has playoff implications.
I have to agree with judge, win the big games and play the big games, they'll get prime slots.

So a top 15 match up at death valley which happened to be the biggest rivalry game for Clemson, with both teams essentially playing for a trip to the CFP playoff in the last game of the regular season gets a noon kickoff???
Coincidentally after Dabo and Neff denied ESPNs wishes to move the game to Friday night. All while Clemson is wrapped up into a lawsuit against the ACC
That was 100% malicious scheduling by the powers that be.

A noon game with all the publicity during Game Day is a good thing and some of the biggest games every week are played at noon.

The only thing hurting our recruiting is Dabo recruiting like we’re back in the early 2000s. Kids aren’t going to jump through hoops for an offer when they already have double digit offers with NIL figures.

12 has become a prime spot according to some media types. B1G has a huge noon game on every week and ESPN has had to put better teams in that time slot.
Fact? I have no idea, but that’s what I have read or heard at some point in time.

While not being embarrassingly bad at FB we took a nosedive which had great bearing on our game times.
If we climb back into the top 10 and head toward a spotless season that will change. The fact that the ACC did so poorly the last few years means most ACC games were insignificant from a national perspective.
