If Dabo wants to leave this is the best year to do it.

Them teams not competing for any championships that matter, Dabo's reputation is still high and he would probably fit in with the Texas A&M crowd for a few years until he gets his multi million dollar retirement buyout if it doesn't work out. Not to mention the fan base here at little old Clemson has come to not appreciate everything Dabo's done for this area.
I couldn't blame him if he wanted a fresh start and relieve the burden of all of those fans that want him gone.

He might need to let the whole DJ fiasco and loosing to the coots last year fade into memory and the whole first half of this season. If TAM wants Dabo, it would let CU off the hook for 11.5 million a year. We can get a coach for much less than that could deliver similar results.

Good, by the time that all fades in your memory, he will have been here another 10 years. I'll take that!

The FB coach at Texas A&M does not report to the AD. He is hired and fired by a few deep pocket fans. Swinney would not last two yrs. if he started trashing Texas A&M fans. That's why he will never be hired at Texas A&M, and why he would not want the job. He can stay at Clemson and make 11 million a year for as long as he wants. He'd be a fool to leave.

Seems like going to any school where the boosters run things (A&M/Auburn/Arkansas) would be a mistake unless you are just chasing the money.

Being rated #2 in red zone trips...
While being rated #120 in offensive scoring...
Warrants criticism of a CEO making 11 million a year. No one wants him gone.
Cope.

man who has never been a coordinator, doesn't know jack about X's and O'x and is more a cheerleader than a coach have been with us all along.
When Chad left we constantly heard the X's and O's comments then when Jeff and Tony proved they were worth of their jobs the dumpers returned to the days of complaining about cheerleading.
Now the entire ### has broken and they are making the same claims they made when Dabo was first named head coach.
Most of the time I ignore them, sometimes I argue with them but sometimes I just call them idiots and leave it at that.

his team getting left behind in the ACC.
On the other hand, what did national championship coach Fisher get, six years? And he had a #4 ranked team in the mix. They were #4 when we were #3 in 2020. And he's no longer coaching. Dabo would go from a two-time national champion coach on a campus where he would never have to worry about job, to being on the clock to win a title. And there, even a division title has to go through Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas and maybe Oklahoma. I doubt he will go, but if he does, we'd only be missing out on about 10 to 15 years of him here. He has coached for 15 years and I doubt he goes much longer than 25 to 30 no matter where he is.

But he’s still marketable for sure. The question is, how many schools who are capable of paying him $11 million plus a year have an opening and are interested?

Wow. That sounds an awful lot like what Dabo says about getting players from the portal. There must be an opening and the player must be interested in coming to Clemson. So you do understand….

Dabo is more popular here than Jimbo was at FSU in the end I believe. In any case if he doesn't like the level of heat here he needs to steer clear of the SEC.

LOL, OK Finebaum Jr. Are your saying they don't have the same "1.5% fans" at ATM? Literally every ticket holder there never complains? Apparently the only place ATM has the "1.5%" is in their BOT?
