We will be 9-4. And, it will be a hugely disappointing season. Conversely, if the coots went 9-4, it would be one of the best seasons in their not so illustrious history. That is undeniable. And, that, in a nutshell, puts in perspective the difference between these two programs.

If we win out, I won't consider it a "hugely disappointing" season at all. I was disappointed that we didn't show up ready to play at Duke. I was disappointed that we didn't know we didn't have a FG kicker which I think cost us the FSU game. I was disappointed with the way we played against Miami and NC State.

But... I like the way we are finally starting to click more on offense and the defense has actually been pretty solid all year. We aren't where we want to be but we've progressed from the lowest points of where we were.

I always felt this year would be a year of transition with a new starting QB and new offensive system and that has proven to be the case. I will be expecting a lot more from next year and think we could be playoff bound if the pieces continue to come together.

But, for now, just go beat the Gamecocks...
