he said that the SEC getting so many teams in is similar to one of the Big East years a decade or so ago that he was a part of and more than anything it helps the league attract better coaches. Wright said coaches want to go to a league like that as it gives them a better chance at the NCAAT....they look around at other leagues and see which ones only get a lower amount of teams in and you want those higher bid league jobs first.
While the ACC has several solid coaching jobs, you'd have to think its a deterrent recently with a smaller amount of bids and knowing the margin for error is very thin.
As for Miller, he is where he wants to be for now and Xavier is probably a better job than alot of other options.
