I was thinking about basketball being 5-0 in last 5 games vs AP top 5 teams.

Has this ever happened at Clemson in any other sport?
I would be surprised if it has, but if so, I would think the likely candidates would be soccer, football, and perhaps baseball.
Regardless, it is an incredible accomplishment!

maybe baseball because you play a series and since the ACC has been so good you could have a couple of series versus a highly ranked team you swept like FSU or GT when they were good

Great accomplishment for sure. We'll probably get the opportunity to face some highly ranked teams, so lets keep it going in the ACC tournament if we get Duke again and in the dance.
I know from 2016 - 2019 we went 6 -1 against top 4 in football
Wins all came against 1, 2, and 3 and the loss being to the highest ranked team at No. 4, who ended up being No. 1.

I think in soccer Ibrahim did it. In 84. We had to go through the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th seeds to win the championship. It was the first time in any sport that had happened. I just can't seem to find the next top 5 after or before.

Yeah, beating the highest ranked (by SRS) team in our school’s history is sad. Basically the best win across our entire history.
