That’s pretty good news I think!
Doesn’t sound like it will linger too long.

I’m not sure I would call this an ‘update’

Personally, sounds like HCDS is being a bit ambiguous. Trying to hide something, maybe?
I sure hope not.

He got knocked out. Sounds like they don’t know if he got a concussion too.

you check for differences from day to day and sometimes problems dont show up for a couple of days, so you always have to wait.

It’s crazy to me that slamming your own head on the ground can give you a concussion. Same thing happened to Damien Harris of Bama against Citadel. I played football for many years and never came close to experiencing that. It seems like such a fluke accident. Of course, I’m no where near the athlete these guys are, so never ran or jumped or dove at such high speeds.

There are so many variables that we don’t understand welll as to why one guy can get his brain bashed in by Tyson for 12 rounds repeatedly and still know his name at 40 and yet another guy can have a couple brutal hits and not be able to walk to the mailbox at the same age... nothing to do with toughness or athletic ability... may have to do more with genetic variability in distance between brain and skulll... kinda scary really

Doesn’t sound like it and I know Renfrow will push to be in Saturday. I’d at least like to see him run onto the field and start, maybe give him a little two yard bubble and let him step out before he got hit... then just sit the rest of the game.
Not sure if they can do that or not. Protocol and all.

Totally agree on HR getting a quick sideline route, step out and avoid contact to keep his streak alive. I know he will be pushing to play in his last game at DV but sometimes you gotta protect a kid from himself. HR is a gamer, warrior and the little slot receiver that could. We do not need him to beat the Coots or for the ACCCG. Rest him,let him be right for thr CFP, we will need our BAMA KILLER right and ready. Just my opinion .

for the injury. HR was going to try anything to catch that ball, no matter where TL threw it.. He's like a good hunting dog.

Yep, lets blame somebody because something bad happen, but if his head don't crash into the ground, he would have been praised for an awesome catch, and TL would have still been blamed for the pass being to wide. Hunter is a stud, and he got the bad end of being a stud this time, but it hasn't happen to often in his Clemson career. While TL is getting the blame, why don't you just put it out there that it's TL'S fault for all those dropped passes, or passes being swatted out our receivers hand that were in their hands, and HR dropped one of those also. I'm going to blame the FB for jumping out our receivers hands, and for crashing HR's head into the ground. That mean ole dam-n FB, who let the air out who who!!!

You know how freaking hard it is to throw to a receiver running left while rolling to your left and you are right handed?! We are beyond spoiled in TL usual accuracy there. He led Renfro maybe 2 feet too far, a yard at best. No QB ever, not even the most accurate Drew Brees or the most godly Peyton Manning, is accurate on every single play ever.

Me too! If he hadn’t taken KB2’s job and KB was out there, the pass would have been so uncatchable that Hunter would have had no choice but to cut off that route. Either that or the ball wouldn’t have been in the air but instead 3 yards upfield because of the Rpo. Emphasis on the R

we were not on the field and TL may have not had a good passing lane. We don't know. I'm extremely sorry HR was hurt but blaming TL is ridiculous! SMDH

I just don't think or believe that Hunter Renfrow, a SC Home Boy would let anything like digging a trench with his head cause him to miss his last game against the Chickens, they are absolutely without any doubts, our most disliked team in the entire country, in all sports!!! ! ! ! ! !!!!!

Since when did the "the ground cannot cause a fumble" adage go away. I know there's the relatively new "must have control through the play" thing but the play is INSTANTLY OVER upon ground contact (provided it's elbows, or butt, or whatever but still) sooooo there's that. Anyway I don't see how that wasn't a catch, it may have needed a review to confirm but whatever.

That was not a catch. You mentioned that the player "must have control through the play" (or complete the catch) and that means controlling the ball when they hit the ground. Elbows, knees, or anything else hitting makes no difference, so the play is not instantly over.

Praying this fine young man makes a full recovery soon and is able to finish the season with his team. Also sending prayers for his family, I know how hard this is on them, our son played football too, and to see him go down and not get up is a feeling you will never forget. Best of luck Hunter!

I agree I hope the best for HR... But if I was his parents, he would not play in next week. Dont care what the docs say. Its just a game. The man's brain and his health should be first and foremost.
