Beamer is an easy guy to root for. Unfortunately, they have managed a couple of wins no one thought they'd get. The drums-of-dillusion are pounding again here in Columbia.

Very bad Auburn and Florida teams, a hapless UK team w/o it's starting QB, and a very unmotivated Texas A&M team. Those were "big wins" in name only.
Credit for any wins, of course, but let's not act like these were huge upsets or anything like that.

Meh I don’t despise him at all. I disliked Muschamp like do Laptop Dave and Jimbo who I think are all slapd$cks. I also think he will do well for the coots. Has them playing hard and has a nice recruiting class coming in in 23.

Shane is a likeable coach and person. Replacing Muschamp magnifies it because he is neither.
If the Gamecock fans accept that 8-4 are good years for them and don’t expect the run Spurrier had for a brief time, Beamer could be the Coach there until he decides not be. If he keeps having decent years, surely VA Tech will open the check book hire him.
