He was all business about making money, it’s hard to blame him making cash for the future while he can.
He could have helped us this season.

We won't miss him if TJW comes out of fall camp healthy, he is a major upgrade. We were also pretty banged up last year, Hannifin and Stellto never stayed healthy long enough to contribute in any meaningful way. IF these kids can learn to block downfield, we will be in good shape this year.

Hannifin? I think you mean Taylor? Hannifan only played special teams and had maybe 1-2 catches that I recall.
But I agree we had serious health issues. Brown, Williams, Taylor, Stellato, Randall and whoever else all missed significant time last year. If we get these guys healthy for 90% of the season along with new guys to include Hannifan, our WRs will greatly improve our Offense.

but sometimes (about every 3rd or 4th game) having a great showing
i thought he was so promising but so so so so inconsistent - like ineffective more than effective
i'll also miss him and Jake Brinningstool getting absolutely trucked trying to block . it was just t pre fun seeing two blown blocks every other play
lol

I wasn’t that upset when learning he transferred. Too little Beaux time and too much Neaux time. If memory serves he had more than one gut-ripping drop. Good luck to him at ND.

Not all that sorry he is gone. He seemed to believe that catching a pass was a reason to celebrate after the play. He is a receiver, for goodness sakes. Isn't that what receivers are SUPPOSED to do?

Yeah it’d be nice to still have him, but only if he could stay healthy, which is a big if. He’s very much injury prone. Reminds me of the Ngata situation. Never got to see his full potential due to getting hurt often.

YAC guy, blocking down field guy, or a guy with a nose for the ball, he was not.
Our group, IF they stay healthy, will be extremely solid. It will be our best in the last four years after the wilderness of Ngata and Ladson. The biggest challenge will be getting the best 3-4 players on the field.

3 words describe Beaux Collins: Too injury prone. If you breathed on him , he'd get injured.

writing on the wall....I just hope our DB's are good enought to get our two newest receivers up and ready to go against Georgia. We cannot beat them with the same receiver play we had ALL LAST YEAR. I am hoping MOORE and WESCO will be close to Higgins and Ross. If they are close, then our TE and slot guys can be deadly....

Lol those guys are not Higgins and Ross....not even close right now....maybe in another year or 2. They need to just fight for and catch the ball...something we've missed badly the last 3 years

Me too. I hope he has a great year at ND, but nothing he did here would suggest that he will. He was a great guy and teammate, so I wish him the best.
