Everyone has a right to defend themselves, especially if someone is publicly questioning your salary. The guy came across as condescending so I don't really fault Dabo for his response. Not saying the questions were necessarily unfair, but you can't blame the man for defending himself either.

Please quote where he cussed at Dabo and I will retract my statement. Dabo is professing to be an evangelical Christian and cussing at someone on live radio is not a reflection of that.
The fan also isn't the one being paid 11.5 million to represent the University.

Im aware of how the radio is. A person professing to be a man of faith at work representing a university is a different standard.
Watch NFL press conferences if you think Dabo had a hard question shot at him, QBs and pro HCs who make less money get asked more difficult questions on a regular basis.
What happened to being a professional? Anyone else gets fired for calling a customer a smartass.

I have, it sounds really bad. Dabo looked bad to a lot of people. It's not a good look to not have answers to perfectly reasonable questions and to attach the questioner instead. People not wearing orange colored sunglasses see that.

Smitty, I'm not pointing this question to you but in general.
If anybody on this board was approached at a company dinner and accused of being arrogant, prideful and over paid by someone who isn't qualified to assess your work and is rude about it, how would you react? Especially being that the company dinner is traditionally an occasion you don't have to worry about such a confrontation.
I don't care if you make $11/hr or $11m/yr, I guarantee you are going to go to whatever your version of defensive is.
Anybody that says otherwise is full of crap.
