Go look at DJ’s stats vs extremely poor competition vs Cade’s which has had much more difficult competition.
Night and day.
DJ was always the problem… could the wr be better? Sure… but some always blamed the wr’s and not him.
DJ is not good at football.

Yeah the Oregon State fans are already clamoring for their highly ranked true freshman to replace him as the starter. Sound familiar?

DJs play was "a" problem but not "the" problem.

The trajectory of our offense is the opposite of last year.

Everyone knew that DJ would eventually lose all of his confidence and take the offense and the team down with him. You could see it starting around the second half of the FSU game. After that game, his confidence was basically shot. Cade is rapidly improving, as is our offense.
This year, DJ's regression is even more rapid. He started to lose his confidence in the 3rd game of the season. In his last 2 games, including a bad San Diego State team, he's completing less than 50% of his passes for 2 TDs and 3 Ints.
They have Utah and their defense up next Friday night at 9PM. Night game. National TV. I bet he's a nervous wreck. It's probably going to get really tough for him from here on out.
