My heart goes out to you. I've lost all my other immediate family members to death except for Mom. It's just the 2 of us left and she's 85.
I'm spending all the time I can really having fun with and appreciating her for whatever little bit of time we have left together on this earth, clinging to the good memories even while making as many more as we can.
We know these frail bodies will fail us one day so we've prepared our spirit ahead of time for what's to come in the new life but I'm in no hurry to get there. Living one day at a time and appreciating one moment at a time is the best we can do for now but I just can't imagine her being gone too.
We've talked about it, from both sides, and let each other know our parting wishes & arrangements for when the time comes for either one of us... right down to the songs we want played at the funeral. We both like; "I'll Fly Away" and "When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder".
Thank You Jesus! We WILL meet again.
Mom & I join our prayers with yours.

There is No, ZERO, ZIP, NADA, substitute for a Mother's love. I am so blessed that I have a Mother-In-Law who is just that special. I hear so many "funny" but derogatory jokes about Mothers-in-law, but I proudly say that I wish all of you who have had bad experiences ( or felt like you did) had my Mother-in-law. My blessings are beyond belief and the best part is, her daughter, my wife, is just like her (and, oh by the way, both are beautiful, inside and out). In one more year, my wife and I will CELLEBRATE 50 years of marriage. I don't know how she put up with me, but I surely am thankful and grateful that she did,

I've learned to talk/pray to those who I have lost. It really helps.
I know I it's not the same as seeing them physically, but I've learned that when little things happen throughout the day that remind me of them, I know it's their way of letting me know they are still a part of my life.

Your entire family will be in my prayers. It is my prayer that God will give you his peace and comfort as you cope with the loss of your mother.
My favorite Bible verses are in John Chapter 14. It’s a very comforting scripture for me. I pray it will help you to.

I truly have prayed that Jesus will help you cope with the lost of your mother bc I know the pain of knowing that someone we love dearly has passed away, and they will forever be gone from this earth in person, but through Jesus they are never gone bc Heaven is eternity. And through Jesus you can speak to your mother anytime you want to, and she will hear, and in your heart you will feel her bc you already know her will. Just allow Jesus in your heart, bc the connection to your mother is through him until you can be together again in the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen!

My four brothers and I loss our mom 26 years ago. Will never forget the love she had for each of us. I’m sure you mom loved you the same. They are truly special in every way.
