Even his completed passes were not where the receiver could run with it in stride. His “jump ball” and back shoulder throws were awful ……. not even close. I suspect most of it was just rust as I think he is better than what he showed.

I was t impressed with Vizzinia either. Really, pretty disappointing. I was hoping there was not a good reason Dabo hasn’t put him in before now, but I think I was wrong. He is very pedestrian, or so it seemed.

Now we know why Vizzina hasn’t got in any games up till now. I was hoping he would have a better showing, but his accuracy is subpar and he stares down his receivers like Cade while ignoring open receivers. He also should’ve been intercepted a couple of times because of some bad passes. Maybe that’ll change with more game time experience, but if Cade ever goes down, we’re in deep trouble.

Vizzina played a handful of series, made some good passes and some not good ones. Being in with fellow backups in a clearly decided game, with play calling and game planning flowing from that, hard to say much about the future. Some calling for Denson, until he comes in and doesn’t immediately score TDs on his first 5 consecutive drives. Or others saying "wait for Reynolds!". They’ll all change their minds again after a couple scoreless drives in a row.

I think we actually have hunter helms back on the squad, After seeing him in a couple of spring games, I wondered why dju wasnt riding the pine, he is a good qb
