I might be in the minority on this one

but I don't really care how the rest of the ACC does in bowl games. As long as Clemson wins I'm happy. I'm not an ACC fan, I'm a Clemson fan.
I don't think strength of schedule is too important to the playoff committee. It's been proven that if Clemson wins their games we're in the playoffs. Also you have to consider how few teams go undefeated every year. Heck Cincinnati's SOS is 100th and they got in just because they went undefeated. It will be even easier to make playoffs if expansion happens which looks inevitable.
I don't actively hope the other ACC teams lose, but if Clemson is the only team in the conference to win a bowl game I'm not gonna lose any sleep.

So you don't like money? Or I guess I should say you don't like your school's athletic program making more money? It's been proven that the better a conference does as a whole, the more teams in that conference that are national contenders year in and year out means bigger TV contracts and more money for each school. Hence the reason that SC makes an average of $20 million more each year than Clemson despite the fact that Clemson is a playoff team almost every year and SC struggles to be bowl eligible. It directly benefits Clemson for the ACC to put a good product on the field.

If Clemson had to depend on the other ACC schools to keep our athletic programs going, they should just go ahead and close the doors. Screw the ACC and just about everything about it!!!

My prejudice against the ACC goes back to my days

at CU in the 60's, when both Clemson and South Carolina believed they were treated like red-headed step-children, largely from the undue influence of the N.C. schools...Wake perhaps the only exception.
Fast forward to the 80's and the additional year's probation levied by the ACC against Clemson, and my disdain only grew.
I do not include the members added since, but I still think Clemson should have done what S.C. did the 70's and left for better pastures.

Unfortunately it serves Clemson well if the ACC does good. More money. It also would be nice to have a more exciting home FB schedule.
