I met Michael Jordan in the 90s

during his first retirement from the Bulls. It was during his stint playing minor league baseball for the Birmingham Barons. They were in town playing the Greenville Braves.

That Friday night, a few of us had gone to an old club in Greenville called Characters. At one point, I went to use the restroom and decided to go to the one upstairs because it normally had a shorter line. When I went upstairs someone security guy asked me if I got lost and motioned me through.

Turns out MJ had rented out the entire upper floor. I had grown up a huge fan of his. At one point I ordered a tequila, and he hollered out make that 2. I introduced myself and he asked how the hell I got in there. After I told him, he laughed and said well have a great ### time, man.

To this day, I have no idea who the security guy thought I was but he probably didn't last to long. lol

Saw him play in Clemson a few times in the early 80s.

Meet him at Chiefs wings near Haywood Mall when he was playing baseball. No security and not a huge deal.
