Maybe, but I think that Tommy Bowden was a better FB coach than Brad Brownell is a BB coach. It's just an opinion, but that is my opinion!!!

Tommy was also better at capital projects for the program. The West Zone was a huge success and continues to pay dividends. If you listen to the Brownell pumpers the $65 Million Littlejohn reno was a waste and simply putting lipstick on a pig. Why we would be counting on him to successfully lead a $40 Million basketball facility build after that is beyond me.

Personally, I believe that Brad should have owned up to his blunder with the keep away game before he started complaining about how blatantly one sided the Refs were calling that game at Cameron indoor arena. The Refs do call the games at Cameron arena like they're afraid they will be beat down if they don't. It's that or they're afraid they won't get paid and beat down if favoritism isn't shown to Duke, and it just isn't at Cameron, they're shown favoritism at any arena they play in!!!

Blood, I personally believe that if the team hadn't tried to play keep away 3 steals in a row, the team would have beaten the Refs and Duke both in the same game. If the keep away strategy came from the coach, IMO that was a dumb A$$ call that was actually responsible for that loss. IMPO, if they would have taken the ball to the basket with PJ Hall or another really good free throw shooter, and we would've made the basket or fouled, either way they would have gotten 2 maybe 3 points from the effort that would have kept us 4 to 7 points ahead of Duke and the Refs, BUT, the game should have never turned into the keep away game that got us beat, Period!!!!

Well lets hope that it pays off, but none of us will know that until they line up against some of our best competition this coming season. I surely hope that the new hires make a huge difference, but it's sometimes hard to know those answers until we see them in action!!!

You're absolutely correct, the truth is the truth regardless of how many times it's said, once or 50 times the truth remains to be the truth!!! Honestly Judge, I have never had a beef with you bc of the way you personally feel about Brad Brownell, and regardless of how solid your faith in Brownell is, I personally believe that the majority of the Clemson faithful don't share your opinion of Brownell as the HC at Clemson, but I do want you to know that I believe you're a solid Clemson Tiger fan regardless of how much you like or approve of Brownell as our Head basketball coach bc I 110% believe you have just as much right to your opinion as any fan of Tiger Nation, and I do hope that you'll never allow your opinion to direct a comment towards me when we don't agree on the very same opinion bc my opinion is my opinion just as yours is yours. Go Tigers my friend, and we do love the very same team....

Clemson can rebound. and they can play very good High School basketball. but they don't play pre NBA basketball

Which is very possibly true. That’s why I say they have the potential to be great. They just haven’t played to that potential on a consistent basis. But, as a Clemson fan since the late 1970s, I’ll take good.

I'm thinking that it is, or it is since I started to become a basketball fan. There was a time that I didn't care for basketball at all, and before I started watching and getting into basketball, I use to say that I wouldn't go and watch a game if somebody bought the tickets and paid my way, but that is actually how started to like basketball. My boss when I lived in Phoenix was a huge Sun's fan, and he would almost beg me to go to the games with him, and he actually bought my tickets and paid for everything every time I went while living in Phoenix, and I guess I went to at least 40-50 Sun's games and it never cost me a dime, but I actually become a Sun's fan long before I ever went to a Clemson Basketball game or become a college Basketball fan. I was always a never die Clemson FB and Baseball fan for like 30 years before becoming a Clemson Tiger college basketball fan....

Some games are like this in all sports. Heck, we had plenty this season in football where it was just win and live to see another week.
If we get the mojo back, we'll be very good and a tough out for anyone...if not, well maybe the board gets what they want and Brownell is sent packing this year at season's end.
Easiest thing to do is sit back and let the season unfold because no change is coming unless we hit rock bottom.
