I've had ostrich. It's actually more like chicken/turkey, only leaner (and supposedly healthier).

Excellent cut of meat. Definitely steakish.
Fuddruckers used to have an ostrich burger. 1/3 lb with 4 grams of fat so you could add extra bacon and cheese, and it was fantastic. I guess nobody else thought so though, cause it's gone now.

That joint gets some pretty crazy stuff on the menu--they had camel the week prior. That doesn't sound overly appetizing. I don't remember much about the kangaroo because we had been drinking all day, but I woulda remembered if it was overly amazing or overly shatty. It wasn't either of those.
