This fits what I'm hearing back up in MD. He likes Robinson and Locksley is a good recruiter, but he understands the relationship with Robinson can continue no matter what school he attends. Very strong relationship with Venables. Likely to recommit here, and I think it's a great fit for him.

Didn't even apply. The campus is awful. Academics are comparable to Clemson but that's absolutely it. Other than a good basketball team there's nothing they have that we don't. Hope he recommits!

Don't believe we'll be getting Gary, but this class should finish up with Dexter Lawrence, Shaq, and Simpson. Not sure on Overton, Tennessee has the negative recruiting on overdrive right now. They're a classless bunch in Knoxville.

Apparently Wilkins and Gary are good friends. Don't know if that has a huge influence on his decision, but definitely doesn't hurt. When he sees Wilkins tearing it up this year, he'll have a little more to think about.

and visits Auburn for the Auburn-Georgia game. While it is nice to have the last visit, he will cancel that visit after going to the Auburn-Georgia game. Let's just be real here. We need to be recruiting a linebacker to replace him. Shame on us is we let him continue to play us all the way to December 11th. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

And if he chooses Maryland he probably wouldn't have fit in at Clemson.
Honestly, in almost every way possible, Clemson and Maryland are about as different at two schools can be.
Historically, we don't compete with the Terps for recruits too often.
I think he chose Clemson to begin with for a reason and that reason will bring him back around when all is said and done.

I hope he sees that it really is Clemson that is best for him. He cannot make a better choice, no matter how much Aubarn is paying.
