The baseball article is the second featured article. First basketball with a picture second is baseball with a picture.
Other articles are dispersed above below and in between.
I agree with you. It looks weird on mobile because it places the article below less significant articles, but it’s just how they’re spaced out with the featured/pictures.

yep, the spacing's a little weird on mobile. It puts the first featured story, then several chronological stories, then another featured story, and so on. So they aren't necessarily listed in order of importance.
