Yeah some schools throwing around money just to come on an official visit. I've ready about that previously being the case. Idk how it makes sense but that's the world we live in.

I'd rather they didn't come if they've decided not to come here. Gives the coaches a chance to backfill with other guys and not waste their time.

I definitely don't care about Craig Dandridge. I am not worried about some random 3 star WR. He may be great one day, but we are doing fine at WR imo. Caleb Gordon is a bummer. We need LB's.

It amazes me that grown men on this site ask why a 17 or 18 year old kid would or would not do something. Surely you can remember being a kid or you have a child or grandchild that would give you an idea of what kids think.

And to some extent, I get it. But, there are two very distinct sides of the coin in play now and you had better pay attention if you're going to run a successful program. So all that 17/18 year old nonsense is just that...pure hogwash.
The litmus test is in identifying what drives a kid...something Dabo is quite good at. Rest assured, you're chasing money first at 17, you're most likely to wash out, or worse, before you're 20. You will be treated the way you walked through the door of the program. Integrity will get proper treatment...materialism will go the back of the line.
