but we have problems on defense. We are not dominant. For us to be a real playoff team, that has to change. If not, we're a flashy Big 12 team.

UGA to 6 points, 2 FGs, in the first half while #1 in the nation Texas gave up, what was it, 23 in the 1st half.
You really ought to get off this vendetta against our DC, DOOD!

Being honest Texas getting shellacked at home mid-season is worse than Clemson getting beat in a "neutral site" game in the heart of GA week 1. Clemson did not play the best wrs that day and wrs were the main killer. Clemson pass blocked UGA alot better than Texas did but the wrs were MIA.

This was Dabo's game plan decision not to test UGA's secondary. Did he not trust Cade vs. UGAs elite D? Did he just want to keep the game close and not get blown out like the UGA Oregon game in 22? The game plan was quick short passes, for whatever reason. Cade had an average pass of 4.9 yards vs. UGA. The only long pass I remember that Cade completed was in the late first quarter from CLemson's 15 yard line for a 35 yard gain. UGA still had 2 sacks and plenty of pressure, even with the quick pass plan.

We have 6 more games to play and develop before we have to be a playoff team. We are doing an excellent job of getting talented backups lots of experience and opportunities to develop, unlike a lot of other teams. Of course they will struggle at times. That's why they're backups. We are also doing an excellent job of managing the health of our best players so that they are available when the playoffs finally get here.

I agree with you. If something can't be found to wake those boys up we will not be conf champs. I think k they have all the pieces but they've not put it together. Offense has looked a little less than inspired over the last two weeks as well.
But it's got to be tough getting up to beat some of these teams.

Meh...... I've seen us week after week after week dominate teams for 3 quarters!! With lopsided scores to show, pre-4th qt. Dominant on both sides of the ball. The 2nd & 3rd string units are giving up 21 + in the 4th. It's frustrating as #### but I understand it.
