speak, but I really wish he had taken the opportunity to put those rumors to rest. I think he missed a golden opportunity to demonstrate his loyalty to Clemson University after the extraordinary amount of loyalty the university has shown to him over the years. I’m sure he is going to stay, and this is just a misstep by a coach in unfamiliar territory, but his detractors will certainly try to use it against him. My guess is it’s already been addressed behind the scenes and damage control is in progress. I bet we’ll be hearing from CBB soon with a more direct, and loyal, response.

This too shall pass.

I don’t expect a more direct answer until the season is over. Right now, the answer that he’s focused on this team and upcoming games is the best answer, regardless of what the final answer will be.
