On paper it would be a good hire but there is no such thing as a home run hire. If you had a nickel for every time a fan proclaimed Coach X was a home run hire but failed, you would be a very rich man.

I personally am fond of Tim Banks a bit more than it seems a few other posters may be, but Leonhard is undeniably the best option on paper that Dabo could hire. Just a total grand slam hire if it comes to fruition.

DB Leonard was my inspiration as player in high school.
He went from walk-on to all-American and could dunk a basketball! Just an incredible athlete

He is young. Idk how long Dabo is interested in being around but definitely would be a good successor to Dabo. Thatās why he left Wisconsin. He should have been giving the job when he was the interim.
