Because their are only 5 in the top 20 that are available. A lot of the other available guards in the top 50 are from small schools that are unproven and the top level.

the rumors are leading for wing guard or forward 6-7 Bobby Durkin from Davidson and defensive stopper 6-5 wing guard or small forward AJ Smith from CofC.

There is going to be another wave of transfers in portal in another week or so.

Think the staff wants to see what happens with Jaeden Zachery.

Think if they get those two, then maybe another guard if Zachery can't come back who might fit that bill, and another big to come off the bench.

They aren’t waiting on anything , they have offered just struck out so far . We have 1 returning guard coming back ! Ouch ! We need multiple game ready guards . The prospects are getting slim in the portal and time is not on our side here . At the college level good guard play is paramount , and without it you won’t be very good .

They are definitely going to be leading for Huff if them want him from Chattanooga. Tfdt might be the scoring guard they need.

Did you learn small school players are unproven in your three months on t-net? FWIW there are many players who started their career at a small school who were late bloomers who played at the highest levels at a high major school. As an example, Zackery was unrated out of high school and played one year at a Juco
