not sports preference. Football drives the college sports economy. It drives conference alignment. It drives TV contracts. Football should be as strong as possible, especially in the environment we currently find ourselves in. College basketball does not move the needle on alignment or TV contracts. If it did, conferences would be returning UCONN's phone calls. Again, this is simply economics, nothing more. Please relax.
