threaten this and that, but he ain't stupid. He knows better than to push it too far and start WW3. He knows us. The whole world knows us. We're some sneaky little $hits. We're always secretly working on something that we keep on the down low. We sat on the atomic bomb until it was necessary and then BOOM, end of story. We were working on stealth technology as far back as the 70s, and when we pulled that crap out a couple decades later, it blew everybody's mind....
Doesn't matter who's President, in Congress, etc... our "military industrial complex" as Ike called it is always extremely well funded. I guarantee you we have some mind blowing crap that is light years ahead of anything China or Russia have. And they know it. They're always bragging about having this and that, but you never see us doing that. No, we keep the poker face on and never let on that our hole cards are 2 aces and we just flopped 2 more...
Anyway, I have no idea how this Ukraine thang is gonna play out, but I never worry about WW3.

Agreed...
The US dropped a bomb or two that killed over 300 Ruskies in Syria, a few years back..
Russia did nothing but ship 300 plus body bags back home.

Putin is not acting rationally and it could be that he sees this as his last big hurrah. He is egomaniacal and wants to leave a "legacy". He has stopped doing anything that makes sense.
I wouldn't;t put it past him lashing out when he gets even more cornered with the SWIFT sanctions and others. It's up to the other top Russian leaders to talk him down.
