Spurrier gets the spirit of the rivalry.
My wife and I were at the game, and I saw him do that on the jumbo screen, and laughed out loud. It was great, and he’s always been the ultimate troll. I always loved to hate Steve Superior, but he’s was and still is great. I agree. It was hilarious.

There is/was a good bit to dislike about Steve Spurrier - as the (mostly) successful coach of your rival.
However, learning more of his non football persona, I no longer harbor ill will or dislike for him.
From that perspective, I see this and chuckle. If our fans give him carp, he gives it back; with a smile on his face (that I used to call a smirk).
Enjoy the rest of your life Steve Spurrier.
