at Dabo like he has since DJ's exit. Of all the people out there, Dabo had DJ's back more than anyone and routinely deflected criticism to other elements of the program. I can see Chunky having an issue with many fans - some were relentless in dogging on DJ, and Dabo alongside for being 'too loyal'. Streeter also.
I have to think something else went on behind the scenes here. Did Chunky demand some type of payment for DJ coming here that he didn't get? Was he meddling with the staff in some fashion and told to back off? He's made it embarrassingly personal, and the target seems out of touch with the reality that went down here.
One thing's for certain - he's not doing DJ any favors running his mouth like he is. Chunky isn't the one who has to live up to his smack talk, that's on his son's shoulders.

Chunky D has no dog in our fight these days. These are jabs at Coach from afar from a bodyguard to some stars, and Pops to a starting QB for the O State Beavers, who used to start for the Tigers. This cat isn't shining any light on anything other than himself.
Is he mad that Dabo didn't protal some WR's that would have made DJ look better as a passer during his seasons here? He had Justyn Ross, his CA high school homeboy Beaux Collins, plus other talent that he routinely struggled to connect with. C'mon, man. These are cheap shots after the Duke loss. DJ's numbers aren't significantly different than last year's after two games, and we opened with a P5 team last season also, unlike O State.
