That GameDay is very much in play for the rivalry game. Of course, Texas vs Texas A&M is also that day. Both have hosted this season, however, and Texas has been on twice. Something to watch.

Clemson has got real serious business to handle with itself and especially with Chickenlina. Don't need all the hooplah ... only to possibly get embarrassed. Definitely hope we don't get embarrassed...but I do want to embarrass them just to make sure we got something still in place.
Let them go to Texas vs Texas A&M.......it has been some time since they've played each other......so they deserve this one.

TBH Texas vs Texas A&M is a much bigger story - The renewal of that rivalry since A&M left the Big 12.

The other factor would normally be the Iron Bowl on the same day, but with Auburn being really bad that's likely a distant 3rd choice this year.

Game Day is considering us BECAUSE they've been to A&M and Texas already this season...Texas TWICE.
I'd agree that I wouldn't be surprised if they got picked but if they come that's great for us from a PR standpoint.
Overall, big win if GameDay comes to town but we gotta perform too because if we were to get embarrassed by our rival on primetime OOOF it'll make the Louisville fallout seem miniscule.

I remember Kirk Herbstreet partying with the students when I was there at Tiger Town before Gameday was gameday. In those days, he was younger and rowdier and was an awesome pair with Bret Musburger on air.
I was a bouncer at Tiger Town when he came in to call games....
My favorite story though was after we lost to Ga Tech in 1998, Matt Kuchar tried to get into Tiger Town after G Tech beat us at home and I took his fake ID. He was low amateur at the Masters earlier that year and I told him to get lost. Probably should have just let him in. I was jealous of his golf ability and it got the better of me that day....
