and not advancing on in this tournament. Last season we kinda needed it as a play-in, show our mettle. An ACC baseball title isn't necessarily all that, and going the distance this week hasn't necessarily translated into success afterwards this past while for the hardballers.

I have no problem with Bakich sticking with the norm on rotation and come what may today after either. Put your guy out there. We're going to need every single arm we got if there is any glory ahead.

At worst we're a 7 national seed regardless of tomorrow's L'Ville exhibition contest.

him with an ace and then pitch Darden against the primo teams in the later rounds bc he would for sure get knocked around. He either can get it done against the 11th ranked team or he can't. And he answered the question. We almost pulled it out but all those runs early sunk us. i'm assuming we just don't have any other option.

Just maybe skipping over some our pitchers when their time comes up, it may be a good message to send them without saying a word other than you're going today...

Any team that gives up 6 runs in 2 innings tell a story of really bad pitching or really bad fielding. IMO the fans of that team shouldn't be OK with that. IMHO, our team is a lot better than it shows, and with some help from our bullpen and at least one more really good starter, our guys would be really hard to beat. If the truth was told, our bullpen has allowed not so good teams to knock the cover off the ball and that's not fun to watch!!!

I was hoping for a little momentum coming out of the ACCT having lost 4 of the last 7, counting today. Maybe the rest will help but I don't think rest is the issue with our pitching.

Agreed. The issue is our pitchers giving up homeruns like bunt singles. They throw stuff right down the middle as if it were batting practice.
