I wouldn’t
He did that against Florida and lost the game for us
Since before Florida, I have not seen anything out of Darden that warrants putting him in now in a big situation in the postseason.
Nothing
Do what’s best for the team, not what aligns with seniority of certain players.

I agree with Jessy that we should use position players at pitcher until the final of the CSW then out whole staff would be fresh for the final game

I've always believed a good pitching coach should be able to tell within a batter or two if the guy on the bump has his stuff or he doesn't. Saying, in the regional, every pitcher has to have a short leash. During the season if you lose a game, no big deal.

A lot of people would’ve loved to have had Darden starting against North Carolina I bet…… I would rather start Bell than Darden right now, but Darden would still be my number four.

If it's between him and Fizgerald, Samol, Hudson Lee, etc. I'll take Darden. Otherwise, I hope we don't have to get that deep into the bullpen this weekend.

Darden has struggled this year, but I remember him throwing some gems against NC State and Wake last year. He is extremely hot and cold. More so of the latter this year. He can surprise you, but the more reliable pen options should be used first.

I think he could pitch if we are either 1) up huge or 2) in a game against Kentucky. He's a pitch-to-contact guy and pitching him against USCU who has one of the best offenses in the country or WVU who thrives off contact hitting is a recipe for disaster. Kentucky is the only team with a worse average than us, so I'd be most comfortable there. Otherwise, use him in late situations where we are already up huge to save the good arms for later.
