As a Clemson fan, I want our coaching staff to stay together for as long as they want.
But as a life long "COWBOY" fan, I have to say that for Tony that would be the worse move he could make, and it would be a worse move the Cowboys, or should I say, Jerry Jones.
Jerry needs to hire a "REAL HEAD COACH", stay out of his way and let him "COACH" the team.
Tony would become no more than another "YES MAN" in Jerry's recent carousel of poor coaching hires.
Don't get me wrong, but Tony(or even Jeff's)first Head Coaching gig needs to be in a college setting, and not the Pros, and especially[NOT] for an organization(The Cowboys) who already have their Head Coach(Jerry Jones).
Don't believe me. Look at the Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett:
Look at his antics on the sidelines. He applauds great plays, but never once have I seen him get in a players face after a boneheaded play. How many times has Dabo been criticized in the media for getting in a player's face?
Want more, in the last 3 televised games, I have actually seen Garrett pull back the mouthpiece of his headset and spit. I don't think he has said 3 words in those 3 games. And he looks lost on the sideline. Ever see Bill Belicheck look lost on the sideline?
No, Tony needs a college job, one that he can get his feet wet in before drowning in a sea of mediocrity that has become "MY" Pro team.
Oh, one last point. Jason was the former Offensive Coordinator for the Cowboys.

I hope Tony Elliot takes that as an insult, because only a complete idiot would agree to be Jerry Jones's HC. And I'm a Cowboys fan.
Jerry Jones is a joke and is 100% responsible for Dallas stinking every year.
