maybe he should because his recent decision making has been criminal. Anyone could have seen the disaster looming with gambling on Goodwin to run the defense, and his lack of urgency to use the portal even though recruiting was struggling is just inexcusable for someone making his salary. Wreckless use of his power brought Clemson down over the last few years and the results prove it.

Yes, we do. This is a huge game for our program, yes we can recover from a loss, but we need to beat a national program to prove we are as good as we think we are. I still have a bad taste from being 0-3 to SEC last year. We have to execute well from the opening kick off.

we are a much better team than the one that lost to Duke, as well as the one that lost to UGA, where our defense played its best half of football of the year, then went downhill from there. Against UGA it was the same, issues we had against texas, we could not tackle worth a dang, and their backs picked up huge chunks of yardage while they dragged our DB's down the field, who seemed more intent on stripping the ball than making the tackle.

in terms of who's the starter is concerning in a game like this. I have yet to really see us gain much traction running the ball in the past couple of years. I get that we'll never really be a dedicated running attack but we at least have to be consistent to keep them off balance. IMO that will be the key to how far we go this year in terms of Natty dreams.
Our goalline offense is usually atrocious with these delayed handoffs from the pistol. Unfortunately I don't expect that to change. We don't have an ETN to bail us out with super human ability (that I know of.)
With that being a question mark then it puts all the onus on Cade to bail us out. I think he can do that, to a degree. But at then end of the day if we get nothing from our running game then we'll probably get beat unless their secondary is just trash (which i don't expect.) Or if the defense turns out to be really elite which would be a huge turnaround.
If defense can keep them under 20 points then its possible to win without a good run game. But Nussmeier is a vet as well and will be looking to set up shop so I wouldn't bet on it that he flounders.. its fun to ponder but hard to know what exactly will happen in this one.. LSU for sure will be riled up and ready to shock us. We gotta hit hard early and not go in one of our brain fogs and then have to wake up late to get back in it, like we didn't routinely last year.. just my honest pessimism at work here.
