You’re in denial. Buffs were 1-11 last year and the portal did this for them. I hope FSU doesn’t portal us to death later this month.

Also lost their best receiver. They had 2 turnovers in the end zone and a missed field goal.

Any team can light up that TCU defense. They were very fortunate to go as far as they did last year. With that said, a wonderful win for the Colorado program. They too have to find some defense.

They had a total of 2 WRs have 100yd games last year and had 4 in one game today.
Everyone thought “his way” would be a failure. They won’t go unbeaten by any means but he’s one win away from doubling last years win total.

TCU has given up 110 points in their last two games. They will lose some more high scoring games this year. Congrats to coach Sanders and his team.

Edwards is a super fast, dynamic young that I wish we had. Why wouldn't kids want to play for a coach that does commercials with Coach Saban? It doesn't matter how you get your players as long as it is is legal and The Portal is legal.

I felt the same until I heard Urban Meyer talking about what he saw while attending their practices. I’m not an Urban fan but he knows football and skill position talent especially. That made me wonder if Colorado would give them a game. And they did. Fun game to watch.

at home by a mercenary squad.
Gotta tip your hat to Deion -- had his players ready to play. TCU just looked clunky on O all day until the 2nd half and then their defense just fell apart.
Colorado may go bowling this year if they can continue to win shootouts -- certainly too early to tell how good Colorado may be but definitely will be tuning in for more games this year to see how this thing goes.

That's what I'm thinking too.
Looking at their schedule, Nebraska and CO State are up next and if they come out like they did today those should be Ws...then they start running into the meat of the schedule with Oregon and USC back-to-back.
I suspect that USC, Oregon, Utah, UCLA, and maybe Oregon State (we'll see how DJU does) are going to be Ls...Wazzu, AZ, AZ State, and Stanford look like their best chance at Ws on paper.

Anything is possible when send approximately 70% of your roster packing and bring in basically a new team. I am not sold on Deion at this time. He has to make some changes with his relationship with his team before I change my opinion about him.
If winning is that important that you force guys to transfer I am not sure I want that person as my HC.
Dabo will tell you that on his list of priorities Winning is not in his top 2. It appears to be Deion’s number one goal. If you the Colorado roster year will you be on it next year.
Most parents want their kids to play for coaches that are committed to their kids especially if that coach or school recruited them.
IMO Deion is all about winning and would not hesitate to send a player packing.
