I am convinced Dabo felt sorry for FSU

The only explanation I can come up with why the offensive play calling in the second half was so bland & conservative is that Dabo felt bad for FSU & didn’t what to embarrass them. When is the last time you heard of a team having over 500 yards of offense & only 29 points. The play calling inside the 20 was partially horrendous. I don’t think Clemson even attempted a pass play in the final 7 minutes of that game. A win is a win & I am happy, but that is not how you play football. It’s not Dabo’s job to keep the game respectful for a bad FSU team. I have watched every FSU game this year & they are bad. This game shouldn’t have been remotely close.

Dabo was clearly frustrated when they talked to him on the sidelines. He’s going to chew some butts this week, you can bet on it!

That’s not why. There’s a ton to clean up, but it had zero with Dabo feeling sorry for FSU.

We’re fortunate the FSU receivers have the hands of a blacksmith.

If we had thrown a pick six or had a scoop and score we could have been in a dogfight and Dabo coached to make sure that wasn’t going to happen. I am not saying I am happy but sometimes you take your win and go home.

I agree that FSU has been really bad this season. Not so much that DABO felt sorry for them.
I am disappointed in our defense... They need to get some fire lit under them! A lot of missed assignments and it seemed at times that it was Barrett and Copeland(?) against their offense.
Our offense was lackluster as well. I am glad that we walked away with a W ... surprised- but happy!!
