I know people were saying it and I have been against Brownell in recent years. But I got the feeling that this team was indeed different this year. I drank the kool-aid.
So these last 3 losses have been very disappointing for me.

If I were a betting gal, I honestly would have bet the house we'd win tonight. One game, Miami - I could rationalize it was a one off that Miami had a night and couldn't miss.
UNC, well just good. And it was much much closer than the score indicated. But this game. This is a headscratcher. Va tech loses one of their starters early, and the kid Tyler came in and they hit lights out. At some point, you have to say it's a trend.
2nd half, I thought the score percentage would equalize... it did for us, but unfortunately Va tech continued to shoot lights out. Meanwhile, we slumped from 3pt land in 2nd half. Smh. Baffling.

I am actually starting to understand how a coot fan believes they will win the NC in football every January. I believed this team was different, that they would win the ACC and play in the NCAAT.
