IMO this would solve a lot of our issues and bring some toughness over to that side of the ball.
He played DB in HS so he could pick it up really fast and he just strikes me as a guy that would know where he needed to be and bring it all day long every day from the DB slot...
Let him play both ways if you want, I don't care. He's tougher than any cornerback we have right now outside of Blanks...
Somebody get that to Venables... 
I'm sure he'll read this and implement immediately...

Good not agree more! Makes no sense to me why they have not already moved him over to the defensive side to play cornerback.

You must be listening to Walt because he said the same thing since they don't use him much on offense. But now Bryant is out the next 2 games so that may not be an option now.

now were all good DBs coming out of high school - what makes you think Humphries will be any better just because he played DB in high school? We're already seeing how there's a major difference between HS and college.

well for starters, we know from his blocking and special teams that he will stick in there unlike some that we
are playing right now in the secondary.

Sorry to disagree but the defensive backs were NOT our major problem against FSU. No defensive backs can hold up with a non-existent pass rush. If we give every passer the amount of time we gave Manuel, we are in for a long season even if we had Terry Kinard, Donnell Woolford. Brian Dawkins, and Robert Carswell back there(all Clemson all-American defensive backs, 3 safeties and one CB, so sue me).

Humphries should stay at WR.He's proven himself at that position. We need players that can put pressure on the QB,stuff the RB and stop the short pass,that what kills us.
