fans waved those noodle things behind home plate while HPU was pitching. Been way out of town for a week - were our fans really doing that?

Last year, dozens of those balloons were given out in a home series against the Tar Holes. It was pretty funny at first. And, it really rattled the UNC pitcher.
I don't think it is worthy of becoming a tradition as some in the CUAD promotions department apparently believe. There are many more creative things as well as much more effective ways to support your team and intimidate the opposing team.
Even most of the fans get tired of them. They start squeaking the balloons and making headbands and animals out of them. Focus on the game folks. Your job is to be loud and be proud.

Totally agree. The noodles are bush league. While I like music at games, music after every pitch is Mickey Mouse. Clemson can do better.
We have a serious baseball program. We don't need all the gimmicks to give us a home field advantage

Who cares it is baseball the point of being a fan is to be annoying the other team. IF you are scared go to church and sit on a pew. This baseball we are supposed to be loud and annoying have you not listened to our coach. Look at Texas A&M does their whole fanbase is into the game. We used to be like that. This is not sunday school if you cant handle the noise than or actions of our fans than you are free to leave. BE LOUD BE PROUD tomorrow our team needs that energy.

Sorry grammar police did not know I was back in college. it was late and I hate when people go after our fans. That is one reason I stopped going to events I would not cuss but I would be loud and this 45-50 would run is baptist church mouth that I was being to loud and obnoxious guess what an 85 year old women sitting next to me said keep it up you are all doing what the rest of us were thinking. The church people need to know there place and stop correcting everybody stay in your own #### lane.

The flamingos from a few years back was better. These things are always better when the fans start it themselves. The balloons and the plastic hard hats (basketball) are examples of the marketing team trying too hard.

Pitching sucks, hitting is terrible, coaches are incompetent, The Doug is too short, noodle waving fans are obnoxious, the music is too loud, people stand up,surely the Administration can do better. I’m calling for Monte to come back, his team ate pressure like candy.

I dont much care for it but not going to complain. If Clemson doesnt stop it then so be it. I will say my first thought was, if I am the Clemson coach - I wouldnt want an opposing pitcher throwing a 95 mph rock towards my player to be distracted. Just a thought.

Seems like the pitcher could focus on the catcher's mitt...in fact what is thought to be a distraction could have opposite effect by making pitcher concentrate solely on target.

I did not care for it at all and wondered about it .... especially the couple right behind home plate. It doesn't work, other than to irritate fans, and it is stupid!
