How to do tailgating at Clemson on Saturday

I have been a Clemson fan my entire life but never attended a game before. My daughter is going to Clemson starting this fall and is part of the Tiger Band color guard. I will probably just tailgate and enjoy the pregame festivities as I cant really afford the game tickets. I want to know what everyone would recommend as far as parking and tailgating and what game day festivities are the best (assuming they have all the pregame stuff this year)? I think the C-1 lot is public parking for like $30 and I can tailgate there.

If you are referring to a home game, you can probably get a free ticket if you're willing to miss the kickoff.

Yes for home games. I appreciate the feedback. I am really interested in the halftime show so I would not be upset to miss kickoff. I would miss the entrance but maybe I should go to where the buses unload the players and watch from there.

Congrats on jumping in with the Clemson Family . . . and Tiger Band, too - will be an AMAZING 4 or 5 or 6 years ! ! ! !
The Clemson Family is 100% AWESOME in person - on here it is about 40% on the best days.

I would probably buy a spot in someone’s yard on N Clemson ave or wigington. It’s pretty shaded back there and not too far from the stadium. There are also plenty of spots down on college avenue where you can buy a spot.

As a band parent you need to be in the amphitheater 90 minutes before kickoff for the pregame concert & then follow Tiger Band through campus to the stadium.

Where do you live? I have 2 season tickets(lower deck, great seats) and I know I won’t be able to make 1 of the home games. Would be able to throw in a parking pass as well.
