How times and excepted nouns have changed

So being referred to on the Tnets as an old timer, it gots me to thinking how use of words has changed. Remember they are only words, as in sticks & stones. Going to high school in Rock Hill for my last 2 years I knew Frog Finley was a Queer(a gay person was happy), but people didn't mind cause he dressed as Santa and attended parties during Christmas. 'Draw Gene' was a Re-tard but people didn't mind because he was entertainment for the young people. Have no idea if they were offended when called that and never wondered. Use those words in the last 20 years and most are offended, use them today and the woke will go into a frenzy. We shall see if a poast like this earns a trip to Jamaica but I've always wanted to meet deadsolidperfect and I heard thats where he's hangin.

Verbs have changed too. Sorry, had to call you out for expected/accepted. Not really the grammar police but couldn’t pass that one up.
