Ok, yes, they need one more than UGA.
But, how many is that? I say 35.. and it is hard to see Riley and Cade producing that many points against that huge DL. Gonna need some big turnovers boys. Really big. And may need somebody bouncing something off an upright in or out at 0:00, either for us or agin us.

Low scoring, d line battles, hopefully not the dumb play (70 some odd yard pick six 🤬) that gave it away, and Clemson stays in it.
I'm thinking it's an ugly 20-17 game. Either team. Hopefully Clemson of course, but closer than I thought earlier.

We need to be in the 30s as others have said. 21 or 24 ain’t gonna do it. That being said if we score like 35 I think that points to the game being a W lock for Clemson. If we go into half with less than 2 TDs it’s gonna be another long afternoon against the Dawgs.

My heart says....
Tigers: 38 (21 in the first half, one TD aided by a TJP sack w/ fumble recovered inside the UGA 20)
UGA: 24 (14 in the first half)
I hope we get up early...so UGA cannot just run constantly like the last game in UGA (DW4's freshman year)

I think if we need 35 points to win, we’re in trouble. Our only chance for an upset is to keep the score low and win maybe 14-13 or 17-14, somewhere in that range. If it becomes a scoring contest, we lose badly. It would thrill me to no end to be proven wrong.

I think UGA will get 2 TDs and three field goals. I see this being a defensive-dominated game on both sides. I think UGA will be successful moving the chains but have trouble getting in the end zone and having to settle for four field goal attempts with three makes. I see them driving the length of the field and scoring a TD pretty early in the game just pounding it and testing our front 7 before we make adjustments and get settled down. I also see a second-half TD on a long pass or pass/run after the catch after a major breakdown in our secondary like a safety blowing a coverage on a releasing tight end because we cheated down into the box to support the run.
UGA to get 23 points. I think their running game will be successful.... question is if they have the patience to stick with it. If we win, I can see them looking back at the play calling and say they should have just leaned on their O line and not pass as much as they did.
The question is.... can we score 24? If we do, I think we win the game.
First play of the game prediction hand-off to Mafah to the right side.... 95% confidence. I do not think Riley will risk 2nd and 10 in the first drive in the first game in a neutral site game vs the number one team in the nation by potentially throwing an incomplete. 5 yards is a win.

The lower the score, the better our chances. If it turns into a shootout early I don't think we can keep up.
Some good games back in the day the were decided by +50 yard FGs. Don't think it will come to that this year. If we're up in the 4th, GA will get desperate. The worst thing that can happen to them is Clemson believing they can win it. At that point, I don't care how many stars or NFL'ers they have. We'll be running downhill. Sometimes it's harder to win when you're supposed to. A loss to the number one team is no sin. And won't have the effect on our season as a UGA loss would be for them. Don't think they don't know that. Let's keep reminding them anyway!
