I was 27 years old and remember it well. The Clemson - Georgia rivalry was always my favorite. Contrary to the opinion of many here, I believe Georgia has a good program (good; not great)and will always be a formidable opponent. That being said, I predict a victory for our Tigers on September 4th. My prediction - Clemson 24 - Georgia 17. Go Tigers!

Which game are you talking about in 81? Ooglies only scored three points. They had 9 turnovers. Yes, I was at that game. I was working at the Charleston Naval Shipyard the last time the pups won a Natty.

I was about to start my career in the nuclear business with a brand new baby boy. I’m retired now after a 40 year career and have teenage grandchildren. That should help put it in perspective.
