Coot statement "those were two bad football teams"? It's like it makes them feel better if we suck, too. It is comical rhe way they seem to come up with these loser mentality-based arguments independently of each other. It is like they learn this stuff in the womb. It seeps into their feeble brains through the amniotic fluid.

I've been around this "rivalry" for a long time and I've heard EVERY coot excuse for losing in the book. Here are their most usual "go to" excuses:
1) Y'all cheat (I've heard everything from sign stealing, stealing their playbook, I've heard it all)
2) Y'all paid off the refs (ACC refs are equal opportunity offenders, not buying it)
3) We were worn out from our brutal "SEC" schedule (Ask their RB Anderson about our defense not being an SEC defense)
4) Y'all pay your players (Like they don't)
5) Your players try to hurt our players
6) We're in a rebuilding year (they've been "rebuilding" for 100+ years)
7) We have a new coaching staff
8) Their "new" excuse: those were two bad teams. Which if you stop and think about it for a moment, is perhaps the stupidest excuse they've ever come up with considering we are going to a bowl game and they aren't.

Yes sir, as soon as my wife saw that, she said their fan should be embarrassed bc that was classless. I told her that nothing embarrassed that fan base, and if she watched close enough, she would she topless women screaming for him to see them!!!

Please tell how they could change, they were the same way even when Spurrier was winning there!!!
The population of just the Cootlumbia area is 137,996, and 130,000 of them are exactly the same, and you just can't convince that many people to change their character, it won't work!!!!

I guess they didn't notice how badly their offense was shut down by our defense bc it was an awesome sight to see. I'll give Goodwin a ton of credit, he had those guys ready to dominate that coot offense as they did. But if any coot tries to deny that, it's only shows how badly they're butt hurt bc they couldn't get close enough to kick a field goal, they barely crossed mid field but once or maybe twice!!!

I don't listen to cootspeak but I would say this much.
"CU was bad" = We had a bad SEASON and this year's TEAM was not up to CLEMSON standards.
"USC was bad" = This is an ongoing problem. The last ten seasons they've recorded 5, 8, 7, 2, 4, 7, 9, 6, 3, and 7 wins. 58 wins total. For comparison, our six WORST seasons over the past 13 years have accumulated 59 wins.

5-7 team is bad when 2 of the wins are Jax St and Furman
