How many believe that our 2021 FB team has a great chance to

win the college FB National Championship for a 3d time under Dabo's leadership. IMO, I believe that our chances are as good as they ever were for bringing another national championship trophy back to Clemson. Go Tiger, this is your season/year once again for bringing home the hardware!!!

I do! Feel great about our defense unlike the last couple years (especially the front 7), and DJU is the real deal who will start writing his own great Tiger QB story soon enough. We are stacked with talent at RB and WR and TE. We are blessed to be in a position now of reloading and not rebuilding when losing guys like TL and Travis. It's great to be a Tiger!

Totally different feeling from last year. I think if the O plays mistake free ball then we are in great shape. The talent is there and some young men are going to surprise us on top of that.

I think we have an excellent chance.
No knock on any other program; but Clemson is custom made for the current post pandemic world. Kids came back who could have went pro. Many teams are welcoming guys who otherwise would have graduated; but Clemson because of the way kids come up: waiting your turn until you are ready: has a large group of players who should be hungry! Those kids are also high caliber players to boot.
Some of the main competition out there has a ton of talented players - but are replacing key areas that might take time to get to where Clemson is.
In short! With the experience DJU got last year; not only in the starts but in the blow outs; we are not starting a brand new QB we know nothing about.
CU because we don't recruit the top notch OL talent; relies on building guys up to where they need to be. Last year with no spring or summer and a modified fall camp - it really showed on the field as there was consistently "no push" for the running game. Those fellas with pride(hopefully all of them) have heard the noise and are out to prove themselves this season. That bodes well for the run game!
WRU should be on full display this year, period! If so, no doubt we play for a championship.
The defense just like the OL was exposed and undressed on National TV and lots of pride was likely hurt on the defensive staff! That's bad news for opponents. The emphasis on being more physical will serve the Tigers well this season. This defense has an opportunity with it's depth at DT and DE to be special. A few names people haven't heard of in the back end are going to make names for themselves in a good way this year(I strongly believe).
Got a tough start with Georgia! You couldn't ask for a better opening game if you are a team who is focused on being more physical. We will see if that emphasis was enough during the off season "early"! Honestly, get past Georgia and keep up the intensity for all games after that w/o a loss and we are in the CFP! Duh, right? Clarified: "Get past Georgia w/o it taking a miracle and then go on to be physical and dominant in the remaining games and it will show the Nation this CU team is a strong contender.
My football instincts told me - we would have to play a perfect game last year to do well in the playoffs. I was proven right!
Main thing I am looking for early versus Georgia is if we get pushed around on the L.O.S or not! No push on either side and it will be a long season. Remember, even against lesser competition we would struggle at times to run the football! If you can have any sibilance of success against one of if not "the best run defense in the country" then the rest of the schedule should be easy. If the same intensity and focus on physical play is maintained. Nothing in the Dabo era suggest to me that's going to be a problem.

Good chance in 2021, better chance in 2022 w/ a nicer schedule and 1st string O and D should be all 4 & 5 * composite, blue chip ratio for the 85 man roster will be our highest ever, topping this year's 67% BCR, 2022 could be as high as 73%-
