How ironic that Cuse has knocked out 2 different Clemson QB's &

won one game there primarily due to that (even though their QB & WR were great as well as a super team effort too)..
and then scared the pudding out of us in DV with the future Natty champs battling for their lives even with the best Dline in the Nation.
Saying, what can our QB & Team expect up there this year..especially after their 10 win season and having painted a big target on our royal backs?

I expect to see a few different protection schemes this year . I’m sure the coaches are preparing for defenses to slow Lawrence down. If the blocking up front is good, ETN will have a field day running draws because all the D’s we see will be designed around the skills of the QB. I can’t wait to see it

Not so fast... regardless of the score, they put up a better fight than either Notre Dame or Alabama. Expect more of the same. They are scrappy and play 4 quarters as Alabama does not.

I mentioned in another post a while back that if we see that for a 3rd straight year then something would need to be done about it. But I think trevor is more than aware how rough those guys are. And WE know as well as anybody that we like a rough defense. Cw42 either broke or almost broke that poor QBs clavicle. Not a thing to have happen but rough defenses win lots of games. I expect more of the same from them.

I'll tell you what we need to do. Take a big crowd up there. Here's what you do:
1. Fly into Albany.
2. Drive to Cooperstown.
3. Take a day to see the Baseball Hall of Fame.
4. Drive on to Syracuse. I'll tell you the name of the hotel to stay at later. It's in walking distance.
5. See the game with a horde of Tiger fans. And yes, it gets hot in there. Even though it's the Carrier Dome, there is no AC.
6. The day after the victory, drive on to Niagara Falls. If Bills are in town on Sunday, see a game there.
Seriously, one of best trips I've ever had. And it's the Genesee Grand Hotel in Syracuse. In Cooperstown, stay at the Inn in Cooperstown. Niagara Falls, stay at the Embassy Suites on the Canadian side.

At least one of the Starting QBs has been put out of the game for at least 4 seasons. Last year Lawrence, year before KB, year before that, Watson and their guy. Season before they were already playing a backup so a pass, then year before their guy went down. While many dont give them a ton of respect, they have brought it every year but the first 2 seasons really. Them and BC are both hard hitting.
